Your task

With an eye to the future, you’ll contribute to the renewal of an existing platform. You’ll be involved with the development and delivery of new products. You’ll also work in close collaboration with other departments in a high-availability environment. Your work may include integrating third-party products. You’ll also be involved with many new developments and much collaboration with colleagues. This will take place in product teams, which means you’ll work together not just with developers, but also marketeers and customer support. You’ll collaborate intensively and keep each other sharp by way of code reviews and pair programming.

What we offer

A really fun, informal and creative workplace in Lelystad. You’ll be given a lot of responsibility and space to develop your own ideas. In addition, you’ll work a lot with the latest technologies. We also like to do everything a little bit differently to the rest. And not in the last place, we offer excellent working conditions, such as a Fitbit, training opportunities and a good bonus scheme.

What we ask

That you want to work with the latest technologies, that you are analytical and that you like to experiment. You find fact-checking really important. That you view everything with a critical eye, to push yourself and your team to improve continuously. That you’re very comfortable working in a team: in fact, multidisciplinary working is a prerequisite for you. Also, that your English is almost as good as your Dutch. We would also appreciate it if:

  • You have completed your studies in Computer Science.
  • You are available at least 36 hours per week.
  • You have a sense of humour and a positive attitude.
  • You find continual self-development important, and so you keep abreast of the latest developments.
  • You also have technical knowledge of PHP, Symfony2, AngularJS, Vagrant, Ansible, Codeception, Behat, Continuous Integration, BDD/DDD and working with large legacy applications.
  • You’re also comfortable working with OOP concepts and design patterns and you understand the benefits of test-driven development.
  • Experience with microservices, Docker and Github is an advantage, but is not required.
